Back to back titles for Xu

14 year old Mimi Xu has won the 18U Junior National Championships after beating former grantee Talia Neilson-Gatenby 6-4, 7-5 in the final at the National Tennis Centre, Roehampton. Given Roach and Millie Skelton toughed out a very close match to come out on top of Mimi and Talia 11-9 in the doubles final. Hannah Smith won the consolation draw after tallying two more wins.

Luca Pow defeated Will Jansen 7-5, 6-4 in a well fought battle and added the trophy to his U12 and U14 collection. Luca partnered Henry Searle on the doubles court and narrowly defeated Louis Bowden and Yujiro Onuma 7-6 7-6(2) in Thursday's final. Ben Gusic Wan won the consolation draw after winning a further two matches.

Mimi and Luca will be awarded a wildcard in to the qualifying draw of the 2022 Wimbledon Championships for the chance to earn their spot in the main draw among the best in the game.
